Journal Entry #1
Two early days in a row.
Up at 3am. Out the door by 3:45am.
No cars besides my own in the pause before the sun rise.
I enjoy seeing nothing going on and wondering what I’m doing up so early.
Sometimes work can ask you to do things that are out of your norm but in the end, this is what provides for my family and I so, I gladly take the early mornings.
I chug coffee, trying to quit energy drinks, and I say a prayer for the day.
These days are long and straining on my mind but I know that I’m growing into a better man for my wife and father for my children.
If we struggle with work and finding value in it, remember that it is a beautiful gift. Whatever you do, do it to the glory of God and its value will grow and you WILL enjoy it.
